1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Tapvex mobile game ("Tapvex", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app. Tapvex uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication for its technical player identity and may use Google Play Games for an optional player profile name.

2. Google Play Games and Profile Name

When a user signs in with Google Play Games, Tapvex may access the user's Google Play Games profile name or gamer name.

This profile name may be displayed publicly to other players on global leaderboards. It may be used in:

• Normal Mode leaderboards;
• Hardcore Mode leaderboards;
• Daily rankings;
• Weekly rankings;
• All-Time rankings;
• Daily Leader sections; and
• the player's own rank.

The player's primary technical identifier remains the Firebase UID generated through Firebase Anonymous Authentication. The Google Play Games profile name is used only as a display name and does not replace the UID used to identify score records.

If a Google Play Games profile name cannot be retrieved, or if the user is not signed in to Play Games, Tapvex may use an anonymous fallback name such as Player_xxxxx.

Tapvex processes the Google Play Games profile name to provide global leaderboard functionality, allow players to identify their ranking, and support competitive game features.

Data processed through Google Play Games is also subject to Google's applicable privacy policies and terms of service.

3. Leaderboard and Score Data

Tapvex may process the following information for global leaderboard functionality:

• Firebase UID;
• Google Play Games profile name or anonymous player name;
• game mode;
• score;
• ranking information;
• score timestamp; and
• Daily, Weekly and All-Time leaderboard data.

Normal Mode and Hardcore Mode leaderboard records are maintained separately.

Only a player's best score may be used for leaderboard ranking. If two players have the same score, the score achieved earlier may be ranked higher.

4. Information processed by advertising services

Tapvex uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertising. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share data such as IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers for advertising, analytics, security and fraud-prevention purposes. Information is processed by Google under its applicable terms and privacy practices and is encrypted in transit using TLS.

5. In-app purchase

Tapvex offers an optional Remove Ads digital purchase through Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled by Google Play. Tapvex does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details. The app may process purchase and entitlement information needed to confirm and restore the purchase.

6. How information is used

Information may be used to operate leaderboards and competitive features, display a recognizable player name, serve and measure advertising, maintain performance, detect fraud or abuse, and verify or restore purchases.

7. Sharing with service providers

Tapvex uses Google services including Firebase, Google Play Games Services, Google Mobile Ads and Google Play Billing. Information necessary for those services may be processed by Google. We do not sell personal information directly. Google's handling of information is governed by its own policies and service terms.

8. Data retention and deletion

Leaderboard score records, their Firebase UID and the associated display name may be retained as needed to provide daily, weekly and all-time rankings, protect leaderboard integrity and comply with legal obligations. Data processed by Google services is retained according to Google's applicable retention policies and user controls. Privacy or deletion requests may be submitted through the developer contact information on the Tapvex Google Play store listing.

9. Your choices

You may choose not to sign in to Google Play Games; an anonymous fallback name may then be displayed. You can manage Play Games profile and privacy settings, Android advertising choices and other applicable controls through your Google account and device settings.

10. Children's privacy

Tapvex is not directed to children. The Google Play target audience for the app is set to adults aged 18 and over.

11. Security

We rely on platform and service-provider security measures appropriate to the information processed. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when Tapvex features, SDKs or legal requirements change. For privacy questions, requests or deletion inquiries, use the developer contact information provided on the Tapvex Google Play store listing.

Google Play Games profile name

For users signed in with Google Play Games, the user's Play Games profile name may be visible to other players on global leaderboards. If the user is not signed in or the profile name cannot be retrieved, an anonymous player name may be used.
